The wreck
Yards change. The fork is the old puzzle. Then two cars share a merge, a market has two levers, a loop can keep rolling. Gold paths show where each car will go. Last throw owns that lever. If two cars meet they wreck — people further down live.
Loyalists
Most nights you protect one faction. One heart for each of your scarves that lives. The others do not see your card. They only see who you throw for.
The Ripper
Some nights one conductor is the killer. They score for the dead. They want the many to die, and they want to look like a loyalist while it happens. If the car is already aimed at a crowd, a Ripper waits.
The tell
Who throws when their scarf is safe? Who waits when a crowd is about to die? First to eight hearts. Roles flip up when the night ends.
